André Brocatus

André Brocatus is a Dutch designer who likes the simple things in life: minimalist and smart design, conceptual and funny art, spending time with his family, freedom in how and where to work.

Starting out as a New Media Designer, later Creative Director, at Bortiboll / Bit IC, André was responsible for the some of the first websites in Europe, for example for Toshiba and Siemens.

After Bit IC was acquired by Capgemini he was the Art Direcor responsible for developing WorldWide Design Guidlines for Toshiba and Asics. He became a Certified Usability Analist, and Senior User Centered Design Consultant, and designed the user interface for the ATM of Rabobank.

From a desire to combine more creative work with a total approach to design he started his own firm Andre Brocatus Design Consultancy in 2005. He develops complex and complete websites, from concept, user-centered research and design,  through graphic design, to implementation.

Clients include Levi’s, NCRV, NDP Dagbladen, Huntsman, Kinaxis,  as well as many smaller and medium sized companies.
